At the heart of these paintings is my strong belief in the relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. My love series is an exploration of the the notion of sacred love,sacred sex and soul mates. I have always believed that there is twin soul for everyone. I believe lots of fairytales are based on this notion, finding your one true love. For a long time I have believed that Jesus and Mary were a representation of this principle. That they have a great love that transends time and place.
